I love my job, article writing is a good way to earn extra income, but it is also a good way to earn your freedom too. This is my job, full-time, I am self employed and I work really hard for every cent I make, but earn it I do. Initially I used it as a way to create additional income streams, but that has changed.

I started article writing because I want to start and online business and I wanted to do this part-time. I wanted it for a reason, so that I had extra income, but also because I wanted to be able to feel secure if I lost my job. So you know what happened, I lost my job. I saw this as a sign and decided not to look for another job, now I have done this the hard way. I did not have support from my partner, who insisted I go out and work for a boss again. I refused, left my partner and ended the relationship, so it has been a struggle, bit it was what I wanted.

An extra $500 a month can make a huge difference in your life, and this is easy with article writing, you only have to make $125 a week. It can make a massive impact on your finances, and be used to pay off debt or for creating other streams of income. With me, things were a little different.

Whether this story inspires you or scares you depends very much on your own personal level of risk. I had had enough of the cell phone hanging around my neck 24/7 (even while I was in the bath, on the toilet or on vacation). And although I had a fantastic job, with a company car, mobile, expense account, health insurance, fat salary package and other perks, I had no freedom.

Freedom is one of the most valuable commodities anyone can have and I soon learned this when my time became my own. It was up to me how much I earned, I could set a goal for myself and meet it.

But it is only now, after 18 months that the fruits of my labor are beginning to pay off and I am starting to, use this article writing to create other extra streams of income.

This is definitely not the best way to earn extra income according to others, there are a lot of people out there who have made good better than I. But it is a way that I know works, because it has worked for me, and I won’t be the only self employed article writer to tell you this.
